Project Description

This garden design centres around a stylish patio made from 900x600cm grey sandstone slabs, creating a modern and inviting outdoor space. The patio is framed with 10x10cm granite sets, adding a crisp and polished edge. There are two circular features within the patio, crafted from black limestone and also edged with granite sets. These circles are grouted with near-white pointing, providing a striking contrast. The circle nearest to the house serves as a connector to an elliptical lawn area, blending the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. On the right side of the garden, a half-circle rockery adds a natural touch. Large boulders are placed strategically, with alpine plants growing between them. The base of the rockery is decorated with a mix of large and small pebbles, enhancing the rugged yet neat appearance. Two dwarf pine trees emerge from the rockery, offering evergreen foliage throughout the year. The back of the garden features a variety of plantings. Evergreen jasmine covers the right corner of the back fence, creating a lush, green backdrop. The adjacent flowerbed includes a mix of small and medium-sized evergreen plants that bloom in the summer, along with spring bulbs for added seasonal interest. On the left side, there are several small and medium trees, both evergreen and deciduous, providing a balance of year-round structure and seasonal change. All the flowerbeds are topped with Cotswold pebbles, which not only look attractive but also help with moisture retention and weed control. Overall, this garden design combines clean, modern lines with natural elements and varied plantings, creating a harmonious and inviting outdoor space.
